Cowboy Village is a19th-century western-style family ranch with a beautiful setting on the riverfront. It is located halfway between Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We are an interactive place where young cowboys and cowgirls learn about horses, animals, nature, and some cowboy skills. In general, it is a place for relaxation and recharging human batteries.
We are not a hotel or luxury resort.
This visionary endeavor was meticulously curated by Ferid Poturković, a native of Sarajevo, whose indelible mark on this project reflects over four decades of dedicated work in the United States of America. Returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, he orchestrated the creation of this captivating Western ranch, an ode to the romanticized era of the 19th century, where every detail echoes the nostalgia and authenticity of a bygone time.
Expanding across an expansive 40 dunums, this sprawling property elegantly borders the Kraljusčica River, gifting its guests with approximately half a kilometer of picturesque riverbank to explore and savor, painting a serene picture of serenity and natural grandeur.

Our much-anticipated inauguration is slated for the blossoming month of April, promising an exciting entry into a realm where time seems to stand still, and the beauty of the Wild West meets the heartwarming hospitality of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Currently, our haven shelters a delightful ensemble of 10 horses and various other cherished animals, eagerly anticipating the arrival of our esteemed guests to share in the magic of this captivating retreat.
Embracing the authentic spirit of the Wild West, our establishment proudly presents four meticulously crafted log cabins, a spacious and accommodating stable tailored to ensure the comfort of all resident animals, an innovative workshop, an inviting outdoor cowboy kitchen, and an assortment of thoughtfully designed facilities to cater to every guest's need, fostering an environment where relaxation and adventure harmoniously coexist.
